HELP US MAKE A SAFER BEACH
Sefton Council's aim is to manage a safe and clean beach for you to enjoy a day at the seaside. Southport beach is a designated bathing beach, only ever enter the water if the lifeguard service is present and when the red and yellow flags are flying.
The beach is zoned and vehicles are restricted by a fence. Please stay within this area, this is for your own safety. The area the other side of the fence can be used for beach games without worrying about vehicles.
Please respect the wild life on the beach, they have has much right to be there as you.
