i've checked F29 and it's pulling between 13 and 14 volts so now seems fine.

F29 covers Hazard warning lights, dipped beam, reversing light, electric mirrors, electric windows, sunroof, instruments and interior lights

Didn't flick the switch to LH as had removed the switch and used the connectors on the wiring loom. so looks like there is cable missing under dash.

Found the issue. Vauxhall wiring.
There is power to the kerb lights - even though they are not fitted as standard. But none to the mirrors (this has been confirmed by extensive cable checking). I know it may be cheaper to run wire for the kerb lights but come on vauxhall i know which one i'd rather have!

With a bit of picking and poking i'm gonna run extra wires from the A pillar connector to the fuse box for mirrors. Using the pins/connectiors from the wiring loom taken from car at breakers. That's a bit fiddly but do'able.

However given i'm working right upto Xmas and into the new year won't be doing it anytime soon.
Thankfully i've got a good supplier of automotive cable that can supply exact vauxhall cable with correct colours so when done will look like a vauxhall job.

IS anybody interested in a "how to" before i start? Looking around the web there are a lot of people who have tried mirrors but can't get power so have given up.

A how to guide would be amazing, I have the same issues and have come to notice the door loom has all the correct wiring for the mirrors to work but there is nothing from the joining connector located between the door and the body of the car that would suggest the door loom is carried on to the fuse box etc. are these wires easily connectable or will i need a pro to do it for me?

Hello deadman667 welcome to the forum hopefully yorkie has sorted his issue and will have a idea where to start on this or someone else may be able to shed some light on it I would think that you should be able to pick up the wiring from a vec with elec mirrors and connect from the fuse box too the door loom using factory wires but not 100%
