 vectra 2.2 b problem
hi im having problem with my 2.2 petrol vectra,02 on 51 plate,will start and tickover but wonr rev above 3000 rpm.have replaced egr valve and throttle fly by wire pedal sensor ,still same .showed inactive egr valve on laptop wen plugged in,sounds like timing wrong ,any ideas please ,thanks kev        |

Sounds more like a cam or crank sensor to me but not 100%

could be the pre cat these can break up that will stop the engine reving this is a com`on prob on the 2.2

have you reset EGR parameters?
