It will be pretty self explantory when you look down the side at the pulley you a torch as well to make it easier
1st locate the altenator slcken off the adjustment bolt fit belt around alty pulley

2nd look how the belt lines up straight line next you need the torch

3rd as you look you will see that it loops around the bottom pulley (crank)

4th it should also loop over the powersteering pump pulley (iirc)

The belt should be a loose triangle shape put tension on the belt by pulling the alty to tighten it not too tight you should be able to put a slight twist in the belt fasten adjustment bolt job done

Hi Matt

Many thanks for the reply, it is appreciated, however there are more pulleys! apologies I should have been more detailed..

There is the Alt, then the crank, then the auto tensioner, then power steering and finally (I think)air con.
I have looked at the job and it appears to me the front O/Side engine mount has to be removed, or moved enough out of the way, to fit the belt.
Total of 5 pulleys.
Again thank you for your time and help with this.
Best regards
Gaz

engine mount will need removing from engine. Belt runs through the engine mount as it where.

if you start at the aircon, put the belt on aircon compressor, then pull the front section up and over the power steering.

From the top of the power steering, it then goes to the alternator via the engine mount.

Now, If i remember rightly, its the tensioner next, then the crankshaft.

Thats all from memory, if you are still stuck, post back and I will dig an autodata diagram out.
