Just out of curiosity I started looking at the different type of plugs available for the veccy 2.5 x25xe

BKR6EK - NGK Spark Plug (2288 )
BKR6EIX - NGK Iridium IX Spark Plug (6418 )
K20TXR - Denso Copper Cored Spark Plug (5063)
IK20 - Denso Iridium Power Spark Plug (5304)
VK20 - Denso Iridium Tough Spark Plug (5604)

Never been really happy with the Bosch's tbh prongs are thinner than the conventional 2 prongs and I have had a Bosch go on me.

The NGK's are 2 prongs as std for the V6, can't remember lol

I've always used genuine plugs on my Vauxhall's, and recommend them unless the engine is more exotic.

Can be another symptom of the issues I've been having tbh, so when the funds avail am purchasing a set of NGK's BKR6EK's as the dealer is fitting these

If it was me I'd save the money and keep to genuine plugs - they really are quite good even with pushing 230bhp V6s.

Been thinking about niggles with car and after looking around the net have had my doubts confirmed - since changing to Bosch + 4's I've noticed changes in the car and so have others.

Think I'll take pics of the plugs when I remove them and that will make more sense.

I'm not shocked at that news. Its one of the main reasons I suggest genuine only - Not trying to continually repeat myself or anything, just mentioning it due to your last comments.

For some reason GM engines are very sensitive to spark plug changes - especially the V6 Eco series engines.
