 Engine temperature issue
Today we went with car through the city after some errands. On the road back I noticed the temperature needle stood at 100 degrees. Then it began to swing betwen 92 and 125(red Line) very quickly, in matter of seconds. I wonder what could it be. I mention the car's Vectra B2 X25XE       |

most probably the thermostat, assuming you have no further symptoms. Where the fans running?

the fans run but I believe they do so only when it reaches the red line the water looks OK and does not seem like boiling |
