 service light and brake light
hello have just purchased a vauxhall vectra Ls 16v 1796 cc. It has been serviced and had new brake pads put on or so i have been told by the garage, the light is on warning new brake pads required and also light requesting service is on intermittently. The garage say its because the brake pads need to bed in and the service light should be turned of after swervice but hasnt been. can anyone advise me dont want to spend afortune if its not necessary. thanks wendy       |

which light is on? the handbrake light? didnt think the LS had brake pad sensors, and certainly doesnt have the display to say when they are worn. by service light, you mean the spanner? when does it come on?

Have you locked at the brake fluid if it's low that can bring The light on
