Thumbs down mot time!

my 99 vectra tugs to the left on the nsr over a bump. would this be the wishbone bushes or something else? want to get it fixed b4 i put it in for mot! thanks, topcat01278

Possibly, but it could also be tracking (is the steering wheel straight? Does the car pull to one side?), it could also be play in the suspension caused by a faulty shock or spring.

If it was a wishbone (like a ball joint) it would knock over bumps in the road, not pull.

It could also be a worn track rod end, or play in the steering rack caused by failing mountings, or play in the inner rams.

thank you for your reply. the gearbox decided to give up ghost 1st!
now got a 2000 w 140 instead of repair!
