Its 50mm, cant imagine doing it with 70mm ducting did try to add headings for the pics but I went over the 5min editing time.

Still some tweaking to do as I dont want this to interfer - if I need to remove the bumper etc as the front fog lights stop a straight run.

I'm at the loose fit satge and once I have the run I want everything will be attached securely, so there's no vibration or interference with standard parts.

What I am aiming for is a neat and tidy finish, that doesnt stop me from re-ffitting the air box, removing the headlight or bumper - basically a stockfit.

Leeky did mention the tumble drier hose spent a few hours debating that solution.

Once I have the start point (drivers side) angles correct, it should be plain sailing.

Also have a solution to fitting the lower stainless steel mesh grill to the bumper without glue and the polished alloy funnel, will finish the job off. Bumper will not have any additional holes it will remain std.

This wont be an expensive mod, it will be a neat and solid finish, something any one can do.

Well the drivers side is all boxed up, pipe is attached and solid, one direct air feed and the three pipe feed directed at the filter...tomorrow I'll plan the remaining run underneath the rad. As there's no sump guard I can use the pre-drilled holes in the chassis to secure using brackets - debating whether to use the funnel as this would mean fiddling around when or if I remove the bumper, though as its 70mm I could easily make a 70mm to 50mm adaptor using the aluminium trunking and all it would mean is unscrewing a clip - slide it off.

Would look better with the funnel showing

First road test today, it roars and flies, threw it round a roundabout, then into an exit...sharp bend...down a straight and the power kept coming + the sound is amazing, nearly wet myself lol

If I rev to 3-4000, take my foot off then quickly floor it, then lift my foot off again the sound is awesome.

Miles I now get per gallon has increased, but I suspect I will be using more fuel as I will be flooring it a few times

I am getting more miles per gallon and pictures are on the way

What I did,

Induction

Starting driver side.

Created new entrance hole for 50mm pipe into engine bay
Used 2 angled connectors to get the correct angle (pipe pointing at filter)
50mm straight downpipe from engine bay clamped on bracket holding wing
3 angled connectors to attach downpipe to pipe attached to radiator brackets
Used 2 angled connectors to get the correct angle (pipe out of bumper)

Waiting for trumpet, which I will attach next to Air-con condessor Passenger-side.

Bumper

Used door weather strip around opening in bottom of bumper, cut stainless steel mesh to shape (allowed overlap and gap passenger side for outlet), weather strip retains mesh grill.

Attached additional brackets underside to align bumper, and attach to car.

Any savings though I may loose because the cars even more responsive and I may (lol) be heavier with my right foot.
