well the bulb is seated properly and not blown as they are blue led bulbs in the kerb lights well infact every bulb is blue led, anyway I find it strange that all four kerb lights are dead due to me taking the passenger front door card off

Sounds to me like an earth's been knocked off somewhere, but not sure to where the kerb lights are earthed tbh.

Anyone got a wiring diagram?

Failing that- There's a chap on Vectra Sport (Not sure if he's on here or not) called Mike DTI who is an absolute GOD when it comes to the Vectra electrical system, so maybe worth asking him for some advice.

well that's a bummer.

Did you speak with Mike DTI on vec sport?

Otherwise I'd say you'll need to get an auto spark out to have a look.

Still pretty damn sure it's not related to total closure though.

You need to check power to the wiring in all the doors.

Check the fuseboard and make sure that the fuse isn't blown, by checking you have power on both sides of the fuse.

Failing that, trace the wire checking where the power works, and then stops and there is your problem.

It sounds like a break in the wiring, more than likely going up the passenger front windscreen pillar. Facelifts use ****ty flat ribbon style wiring, and its known to break with age. I'd be checking that for power from the main terminals in the passenger kick well all along the light fittings in the doors and above them on the roof lining.

Then I'd be removing the door plug, and re-seating it. Is it definately fully fitted?

You need to trace the wiring to see where the power stops. Also, did you change all of the LED bulbs in one go?

Because LED's are sided (polarity dependant), I don't know a great deal about them in cars but turn them around and see if they then work?
