Default ABS and Traction Control

Hi fellow Vectra owners

I have a question, I want to fit a traction control/abs to my car, but it never came with traction control.

Would this be possible, the Haynes manual shows different pin numbers on the ABS Control Unit compared to th ABS/TCS Control Unit.

As I understood it, wasnt the TC fed to the engine ECU?

I'm not too sure given your conversion that you could now get it to work to be honest with you. That said, you could (as Matt has stated above) use a dedicated launch control setup to achieve the same purpose - Just in a MUCH better way.

Vauxhall's TC isnt the best in the world, and most drivers find it restricts power in such a way as to make it dangerous at times.

I was going to design and build a little 'black box' that would monitor the output from the TC ECU and cut the injectors on cylinders 1 and 3.

I'll have a look around some breakers when the weather warms up and try to get the TC ECU.
