 Vauxhall Vectra Gear Stick problems?
Have a P reg Vauxhall Vectra and the Gears are playing up, We have changed the gearbox oil as last advised and this has not made a difference. It takes a while to get it into gear but once in it is fine. If you then do any driving longer than 5 miles staying in the same gear when you come to stop the gears will not select at all. i have to wait about 5 minutes and then the gear will engage. the clutch feels light whilst waiting for the gears to get in, Once in it is very stiff but after several changes it usually, not always, works fine.. Fixed it. It was air in the hydraulics, we bled it and it is as smooth as can be now, been driving it for 3 days adn no problems at all. Thanks all for your help.
