Starting problems vectra 3.0 v6 cdti?

recently my vectra 3.0 v6 cdti sri 04 plat has been struggling to start up first thing, but now it will not start at all, i tryed the 'easy start spray' it fired up then cut out again, and now will not start, contacted the AA and they said its the diesel fuel pump near the engine?? does anyone know where i can find the cheapest or any suggestions?
i have checked the car out it is the fuel pump
