Default Question regarding dash screen thing

Is it possible to change the color? I have sort of a yellow-ish color now, but would like blue as I'm sticking with a black/blue theme on the vec

Can I change it at home or does it require a specialist?

You can change them at home. I've never done it myself (yet) so can't say too much, but I know Ben, and a few others have done this before so I'm sure they'll point you in the right direction.

You mean like this m8? :

All the leds can be ordered thru the Internet and you can do it yourself!
It's easy to do, you just have to be patient

Mine's changed from BLUE/red to WHITE/red now:

I did the conversion over time m8 and in three parts:

1: The dials and MID
2: Switches
3: Footwell illumination

The dials and mid took the longest as I had never taken the dash to pieces before, and the dash had never been removed, so everything was screwed together factory tight! To say I was ****ting myself getting the heater vents out and stuff, is an understatement, lol!

I will do a how-to on removing the dash so you can see what is involved. The first time I removed the dash, it took me about an hour because I was in ***** mode and didn't want to break anything. The second time and every time since it has taken me about ten minutes tops to remove the dials, because you know how it all "works"

The switches are either the easiest or the most difficult.
The easiest way to do them is to just swaop them over for some that have been converted for you.

The hardest is to do them yourself. I've done loads of them and it's a bit like doing the dash... once you know, it's easy... but tedious depending how many you have to do.

hth a bit m8
