Well getting loads sorted out at the moment.

I have bought a Bilstein B12 suspension kit for the Vectra.

The car sits a little bit higher but its sat on a much better set up.

And I've been doing some more work on the engine and its currently looking like this.

Its got uprated internals, steel rods, ARP bolts, GT28 71RS turbo with some other bits and 3 inch exhaust system, so along with the stand alone management should be getting anything from 300-350bhp.

Today I was missing using the Vectra so I took it out to settle in the new Bilstein B12 suspension as it had only done about 3 miles so far. All I can say is god yes this car certainly goes round corners such a difference compared to how it was, its very firm but comfortable, its not bouncing and clunking about like it used to and you can really throw it in the corners now, I'm very impressed.

Heres some pics to show how it sits, its defo higher but the handling makes up for that.

Some more engine pics...

Also had this delivered.

Nice list of mods bud.

What's the new suspension like now it's had time to settle?

I've only ever had Bilstein suspension on one car- An old Nova and the handling was immense.. but the bumps took away the pleasure unfortunately.

However I've heard a LOT of praises for Bilsteins on the Vec, so will be interesting to know.

And what's that bar on the back bench?

I find the ride fine tbh, it is firm but it handles superbly, still needs to be properly set up but I'm not finished fiddling yet lol.

The bar on the back seat is the largest front ARB Vauxhall do as I'm replacing the front and rear ARB's with the largest ones available to help with it handling so it can be as good as possible
