Default ST200 No 2 rebuild project

Some of you will know about this from VV OC as well. Since I'm a member here, and Donna is there, we're going to run it on both forums.

So, yes, ST200 No.2 arrived this morning at 9.30am. Proper chuffed its finally here, and OMG those Recaro's are sodding awesome!!!!!

Today, me and Donna between us managed to sort a few bits out. Mainly interior based, got the new gear lever/gaiter/St knob fitted, handbrake handle and gaiter, the carbon gear surround, including 4 window switches, and fitted the coin tray. We also fitted the steering wheel and airbag (not to self, we need another wire thingy behind the steering wheel as the airbag plug doesnt have the locking connector!). We also installed the headlamp washer bottle, tidied its cabling, and are now ready to install the main wiring for the washers to work. We also removed everything that came inside the car, put the boot mat back in, and then stood and admired those awesome seats!!

Some pics:

Tomorrows plans are to fit the front bumper and headlamps, and complete the front end. Then hoover inside the car and put the mats in.

This weekend hopefully we'll get the brakes (and bled), suspension and the alloys fitted, and the spoiler fitted to the boot.

Well, today I set about getting some more done while Donna got on with looking after the little ones.

I didnt really get much done, and I'm now seriously suffering for it, but its more presentable I guess! Donna is well chuffed with it all, just the old me could of got loads more done and its wound me up a tad to be honest with you all!

So basically today I got the front bumper, washer piping, headlamps (inc rewiring them), and front grille fitted. I also fitted the lower plenums, injectors, injector wiring and piping, the coilpack, HT leads, had a post mortem with the GM alarm which kept going psycho on me (it still is, but without the alarm part!!) and also got the Toad alarm up and running. The standing battery is now fitted, and I've realised a couple of issues, all listed below the pics... I got a few other bits done as well, but just cant remember everything I did to be honest with you all!!

So pics:

So issues:

Indicators and most of the electrics on the dash are not working
Wiring for headlamps had corroded through and was brittle - So had to do loads of re-wiring but its sorted
GM alarm is going mad... Need to sort it ASAP really
the boot is not opening from C/L, and the barrel is seized so key wont work!
Bumper is not aligning onto the arches properly on either side

All can be sorted, but I'm now too tired, sore and brain dead/drained to do anything more now, so given up for the day! Hopefully tomorrow Donna's mum is watching lil ones so we're both going to sort the brakes/suspension/wheels and it it sitting on proper wheels!

Just sorted the electrics, and the OE alarm is now behaving itself! Was several missing fuses, and now everything is working as it should do, including the Toad alarm which is now running perfect... So thats a few less things to worry about now!!

The APs and the speedlines sold before I could get them with the car... To be fair, I didnt even know about it until after people had put their names to them.

But I do have the ST200 skirts, the ST200 genuine recaro interior, the F25 with the AP suretrac LSD, and obviously the carbon bits they came with, as I just took them out of our ST. The history of this car is unreal! Its weird seeing this car in so many pics, and I even have a calender with a pic of it as well, proudly sat above my LCD on my desk!
