Nice to see this fitted Craig. I don't fully understand what it's for TBH (Being me, I'm not mechanically minded- as most have heard before lol).. Is the oil filter mounted behind that cooler or something? So this keeping the oil cool, helps the engine run better? |

oil filter is round the back of the engine still, but there is a sandwich plate between it and the engine that has 2 take offs one for an out and a return so that the oil lines are attached to that from the cooler, you don't want oil to get too hot as it looses its lubrication properties, but with my turbo being oil cooled it gets alot hotter than normal. so the cooler is just acting as a radiator for the oil. |
