Default My Vectra's

Well got back from the gulf now, so i thought id stick some pics of my cars up.

First off is my beloved ST200 0002 currently going for a total rebuild. It had 9 owners in 9 years so its took its toll on the poor thing.

She will be rebuilt over the next couple of years

This is how she was.

This is what she looks like at the moment

At the moment ive spent just over 2k on parts, im getting all the new bits i need first then she goes in for a bare shell respray and fixing, she will also have a new 2.5 engine going in.

Just a couple of pictures of my run about until the ST200 is complete.

Yes, gotta agree with Mark there.

Fantastic to see so much effort and money being injected into an ST.. they truly are wicked cars, and I absolutely LOVE seeing people save them like you are doing.

Loving your runaround too.

Cheers for the kind comments, i will start a project thread once the rebuild picks up pace....at the moment im just getting the bits i need and saving the bits i can.

The hardest thing is not to start playing with the GSI at the same time lol. Already put rear electric windows/straight through centre section and induction kit on it.

LOL so that never lasted long then.

How hard was it adding rear electric windows? Fancy doing this to mine, but not very clued up with things like this.

Not too hard m8, first thing to check is if you got the correct wiring loom. vectras can have any one of over thirty different looms, pmsl! Easiest way to check is to remove the electrical plug in the B pillar. If you got thirteen connectors in there you have the full loom. If there are only seven, you will need to put the loom in. This entails taking the front seats out to run the wiring from the centre console.

As for fitting the widnows themselves, it's only the regulators that need changing, but work on about half an hour each side, including drilling the rivets etc
