this is how i bought the car back last year! soz about the bad pics lol





then i fitted a gsi front bumper and my 17" alloys and proof i actually do clean my car every now and again lol



and also fitted the back box and took the towbar off!



and fitted a splitter off a laguna

the cav has just been lowered and has gone from this


to this

she been dropped 40mm and now sits nicely and handles like a dream

i have also sprayed up my gsi grill


rite from when i had an arguement with a saxo


i won lol

straight away i fixed the lights, bonnet and grill so it was a bit better lookin lol
but also put a hole in my bumper which i wasn't happy about!

tryed fittin my grill with out much work and looked crap

so now replaced the bit under the grill so its all straight now so the grill will look like its sposed to be there unlike in that pic

but on the upside this week we have been workin on my car and heres how it went

nice bit of primer and filler lol

and now painted!!!!!

i love it think it really makes the front end!!!!!!!!!!!

now i have got sum new seats and door cards from a gsi!!!!

i managed 2 drive over my bumper as i went through a puddle so had 2 fix alot of the damage

in primer

and sprayed


and heres the rear quater panel bein re done after i had a bus scrape down it

rite as i got a mk3 astra rear bumper with splitter for free of 1.9gti i decided to try and make it fit my original cav rear bumper

so heres pics





then decided to take 2 my m8s body shop so he can show me how 2 do it and give me a hand

even had time 2 sort out the head lights

while wheels were off decided to fit my mud flaps

the back left ones a bit ****ed so will sort that 2moz lol


after seein the cav in Total Vauxall the same colour as mine i decided to sort out the black angel eyes i had sat in my lounge

rite had 2 get sum replacement shocks 4 the cav so tryed findin a replacement and christ there more expencive then i thought so decided 2 see if i can find ne on ebay, luckly i found a cheap set of performance shocks so placed a bid and won them




didn't relise how buggerd my shocks were but now cav handles sooooooooooo much better

also after a findin a couple more bargins mother bought me 2 early xmas pressies
a decat 4 very little money
