Cheers Neil, I'll keep everyone interested documented, but for now. To be honest Donna's had all the action for a while now, its my turn to get involved and start helping out somewhere.

Will do, will bring the trusty Saab 9-3! Will have to meet up sometime, and your welcome to come and see the car whenever really!

Its running now to be fair, so I might just wait for the engine until afterwards, as I wouldnt mind some professional pics!

Cool...

We don't have many local members, but we should maybe arrange a mini-meet sometime since us members that do live around here are fairly close to eachother.

Saab... wouldn't mind seeing some piccies of that either lol.

BTW.. Not very mechanically minded, but if you ever need a hand with the Vec give me a shout I don't mind helping out even if it's packing the tools away when you're finished lol.

Sweet, well I know a 'lil bit when it comes to Vectra's, so the same goes for you, if you get stuck and need a hand I'll happily see what I can do.

Funnily enough I dont have any pics of the Saab, oh actually i have one, from when I brought it July last year. Its only mod is a HID kit for the projectors - as I drive home from work every day in darkness and the A14/A1M is shocking for nighttime driving.

Its a work horse really, as I work in Cambridge and drive about 350 miles a week to and from work - Has electric everything, and cruise control, and is pretty nippy too! Never bothered with pics though, its not really that interesting!

Were the standard lights really that bad that you had to fit HID's?

Pretty nice work horse that I must say... As you say they are pretty nippy, and to have all the toys is a bonus.

And cheers BTW.. Be sure to give you a shout when I have a new engine to go in and I can leave u to it while I hit town lol.

Nah, but had xenons in the last car, as well as in our last 3.0 vec, and once you've used them, driving a car with halogen lights is like driving blind... So I thought sod it, its got projectors, so I'll add HIDs!

You wont be that lucky, but I'd be glad to help you mate. We've decided to try and keep it original so we're gonna 3.2 our ST, it looks the same as the 2.5 then, but with added power.
