Needed the abs/tc/speedo sorting out - sorted with a new abs sensor

Bottom section of dash - replaced with decent second hand one

Rear spring (just replaced with a decent spare for now)

Also fit my 19's - need some tyres and refurbing

Just going to tackle little bits and bobs as i go along when i get bored of working on other things.....

Changed the front grill for this, as it had an irmscher one on and fancied something different on this as the ST has irmscher one....

Started work on the beast just after christmas.....

Replace the clutch with a 2.6 one, new slave and steering rack....

Garage a bit full of bits including the full exhaust system which was a bit of nightmare removing in one piece on my own.

And one with my light rig which is brilliant so working at night is like working in daylight....

Our dad gave me a hand pulling the engine out on the trolley as its way too heavy to pull out thru the gap in the front of the vec on my own and on a block paved drive as the trolley gets stuck

While i was getting the engine out the missus decided to start painting the new plenums which are going on....

They have the colour on but need to be laquered and buffed as the paint looks well dull but the colour is brighter than whats showing on the pics....

Flourescent orange..... woohoooo

With it all apart fitted a new slave cylinder....

The old one....

The new one....

The old clutch....

Good job i decided to change this as don't think it had long left. It was slipping or anything just thought to check while i was ripping everything out...

So got the 2.6 clutch out to fit.....

You can see how worn the old one was compared to the new one.

The difference between the 2.6 and 2.5 clutch can be seen below....

You can see the 2.6 is much bigger diameter than the 2.5.... so alls good.
