Then beginning of summer 07 decided i needed to do a quick fix on the bodywork as car had started showing more surface rust along the bottom of the doors, rear arches and above the sideskirts.......

This was what i found beneath the side skirts after i removed them......

It looked bad in the photo's but was mainly just light surface rust which i had caught in time before it took hold of rotting through the sills and bottom of the doors.......

So after rubbing the bodywork down to get rid of the rust and back to decent metal i applied i bit of rust eater and then primered the parts up as i went along........

Then sprayed it up with some white paint which was'nt an exact match but would do for what i wanted temporarily.......

These are the only pics i have with the car sprayed up white, the alloys in the pics were on the vec 4x4 project which i thought about putting on the st but changed my mind.......

Rust is now back with avengance so time to do it properly with the whole car stripped and rebuilt.....

Few more pics of the work done so far although a bit slow atm......

Skirts removed and rusteater on now........

All the bits of rust was grinded back to decent metal then rusteater applied.....

Arches are'nt worth doing do much with as they have started to rust around the lip and would rather replace now rather than later.....

Started removing everything from the boot to see how good the floor is etc......

couple of odd surface rust patches but nothing a rub down and bit of rust eater won't sort out before it gets primered and sprayed......

If only i could keep it this low......

And a picture of the engine bay as stands now before the full bling treatment and fitment of a few toys which i have now received.......
