I managed to buy another wheel to swap round as the car only came with four VERY crough ones.
The new wheel was in fair shape so a quick refurb and a bit of paint for the caliper.

I also fitted mudflap no2 lol.

The bumper is nearly right so will get painted soon but if a silver one comes my way in good condition i will swap it over.

Done a fair amount in the last few days.

Rear bumper plastic colour coded & smoothed. Also DD Irmy fitted.

Front bumper now sorted & some smoked side reps fitted.

So the cars now at this stage, just waiting on three more mint wheels.

More to follow in the next few days....

Tbh i would of liked to keep em black but the car already had colour coded bump strips and so the bumpers looked odd.

I used-

Wet 'n' dry to rough the plastic.
Plastic primer
Filler primer (syth stuff) four coats each rubbed down
Loads of flatting with wet 'n' dry
Star silver x3
Lacquer x2

Have yet to buff it up but was done outside & a bloody bit of fluff landed on one bit grrrr.

The car NEEDS to get some work done at a body shop but seeing as PVS is round the corner it will have to wait.

Just dug up some old pics from when the last loving owner went off roading....

This is part of the reason i have so much work to do on the car, also its had owners that either didn't care it was a GSi or didn't know how to maintain a car! One example is loads of superglue that had ran down the sides from where they had stuck the bump strips on grrrr

Added a smooth Roose intake pipe & maf pipe today to aid all the porting work i've done. Also fitted battery bag.
