Thats fine Tom. The indicator position is used to turn the parking lights on when you need them on. e.g. you leave the light switch off, and turn the indicator to the right to turn the right hand parking lights on.
That operation is normal and nothing to worry about.
Cool. That's something else learned today then

Most of my tools are over my house at the moment as been sorting a few things out - I need to head over there later with Donna and do the last few things, so I left them there so I wouldnt forget them.
If you desperately need the earth connector, I can always remove it tomorrow and bring it over to you with the multi-timer if you like?
Sure no worries mate.. although through the week is a def no as I'll be very busy. Possibly next weekend, although I can't say for certain just yet as not sure what we've got planned.

We'll sort something out sometime.
I'm sure we will, sorry I just dont have the energy (nor strength) to do all of this today - Finishing the house off is going to leave me sore enough, as I'm struggling to stand or walk more than a few metres at the minute.
Next weekend is fine with me, or failing that I'm sure we can sort something out dude. I just want to concentrate on getting the house done today really. Tomorrow I can remove the manifold and sort the bits out you need. Like I said, if your not taxed I'll just bring them over to you.

No worries mate when you're ready. I've quite a bit I can be doing just now anyway so not a big deal
Thought I'd update my project thread as a fair bits gone on, and will be in the next month.
Due to one of my shocks having the stabilizer bracket torn off, I've decided to take the opportunity and buy some coilovers so I can slam it on it's arse:
I'll be ordering the kit on Monday, and so far, it's looking like I'll be buying these ones.
Tomorrow, providing my mate can get me the parts, I'll be replacing the front brake pads as the inside one is worn down to the metal.
I will also be popping to Halfords to buy some brake cleaner so I can clean up all the parts. Maybe even get some caliper paint so I can rub them right down and re-do them. Or if I can find somewhere local that can powder coat them for cheapish, I'll do that.
So for the time being, rather than paying out on road tax (Which runs out today), I've decided to declare it SORN for 1 month while I carry out the work that needs doing. So... the cars sitting like this:
Well.. that'd be neglecting it, so it's actually sitting like this:
A couple of things mate (one of which you might hate me for!):
If the pad is worn down completely to metal, and has scored the disc, it will need to be replaced or it will risk damaging the new pads, or causing vibration when trying to brake. Sorry Tom, I know you probably dont wanna hear it, but if its scored its buggered.
I explained in your thread in main chat how to change pads though. If you cant get any discs, I have some used but almost new genuine 288's I've got as spares. There is no lip whatsoever on them, only cost me a tenner delivered - Your welcome to them both for the same price. To change the discs, you also remove 2 x 10mm allen bolts, and the whole caliper bracket can then be removed. The disc is held in place by 1 phillips screw on the disc.
Sorry Tom!!

Yeh it's cool mate don't worry I knew that (Wow.. I do know some stuff lol).
However it's only been the last week that it's been grinding, and I've not used the car much.. So hoping they will be OK.
If not- tough titty.. the whole lot will be getting replaced sometime in the not too distant future anyway (When the engines swapped over).
I know... I'm wasting money on temp parts.. Why not just buy the upgrades now? I can't afford them all at the moment.
I want to buy a 3.2 Omega sometime soon, so until I have that, and the 3.2 lump fitted.. poss even the supercharger- I don't want to be buying any other expensive upgrades.

Fair do's Tom, just wanted to make sure you knew!! If the damage is bad, then replace them. You can have my used discs for a tenner - They are as new, I wont be needing them as the discs on the '200 are just as good so I never even fitted them.
But the ones I have on there are grooved/ drilled... so would prefer to keep them if I can.
I will have a look and see what they're like first.. if they are screwed, then I'll have those off you.. so if you do pop over, bring them with you please (If poss).
