well this is how i first saw her. clear rear lights :nono:

changed them straight away lol



it had 90k on the clock with every mot from new, full comprehensive history and was pretty much immaculate. being a part time motor trader i like to think i know what im looking for lol and after looking at loads of st's i new straight away that i was having this car.

it had all the right bits fitted but hadnt been messed with ie skirts, irmsher top and bottom grills, led's, headlights covers, facelift lights etc

so it was home for a polish and general check over in the garage





then off to my mate at vauxhall to show her off he he




the original alloys had been refurbed approx 12 months before i got it with a receipt for the work. as they were immaculate i didnt want to scuff them so i decided to take them off and get some 17 inch alloys.

they were £40 off ebay but they were battered with no tyres
so £30 worth of paint, 4 new tyres and a few hours tlc and she looked like this




then it was off to my own private garage ( fire station at night lol ) for a good buffing







then i filled her with juice and went for a damn good thrash !!

so with me happy with the outside it was time to put the interior how i wanted it.

its my car so guess how many seats i need ??

as nice as the gsi interior is/was its not what i wanted as its such a heavy interior
so out it came

take one unwanted LS seat as a donor for a one off subframe. just used one part of the seat runners

one grinder and one welder


and voila !!!

then disaster number 1 !!! i had to sell it due to a big change in personnel circumstances. luckily the bloke i sold it to was a massive vauxhall fanatic so i new it would be looked after but i told him i would have it back in a few months.

he thought i was joking pmsl but as soon as i had the money to buy it back i was on the phone every other day, he didnt want to sell so i bought myself a lovely gsi to keep me happy

as nice as the gsi was it wasnt my st so .......... i picked up the phone again to the bloke with my st and said name your price.

so a few days later i went to collect this



he had the wheels painted white which i still cant make my mind up about, other than that he had really looked after it so i was well chuffed

he had taken the headlight covers off so i bought another set that day

i was so happy to have it back and as soon as i could it was time for a bit of " quality time together " ha ha

back to the fire station armed with my valeting box and some quality wax

after a few weeks of having her back disaster number two !!!



9.30 at night playing with a corsa vxr two conrods decided they didnt want to play anymore.

but...........................every cloud has a silver lining so i went and bought this

2001 mv6 with 81k amazingly detailed full history and it had a full cambelt kit fitted less than 1000miles before i got it

all for £600

ive more pics but have lost my flippin lead so as soon as i find it ill post them up.
but basically the car is now back on its wheels with the engine in place. ive a few otehr cars to sort for people first and my 2002 astra clutch slave cylinder is leaking so the st will have to wait.

im not using it till the weather warms up so im happy to be patient for the time being
