hey all, might be coming back to a vec, hopefully next week i will be getting this 1.8, just because i am putting 1700 miles a month on the v6 and its starting to hurt my wallet lol, well heres the piccy

hey peeps, think i need to be stopped added another one to my collection, now have a 51 plate vectra 2.2 sri to add to the collection, so to top my list off i now own:

97 reg mgf 1.8 convertible
92 reg maestro t16
01 reg vectra 1.8
02 reg vectra 2.2
11 reg corsa combi van

run out of space at home and at work now :-)

LOL, love the 2.2's though, they have brilliant torque for a 4 cylinder. Still can't beat a V6 for noise though - well not unless its a supercharged 2.2. lol.

Whats your thoughts on the ZS 180 then?

brilliant car, makes all the right noises, isnt bad on mpg at times. handles really well.but is currently up for sale as i have to get rid of somethings :-P

Hmmm you know the shopping list on the 2.2 think you should change it to list of cars you have lol good list of cars is the 180 zs the 75 1.8 turbo mate of mine had the estate she changed it too a audi q7 in the end it had loads of electric problems would unlock itself at night lucky for her she lived in middle of no where lol as lee said 2.2's are good just the cam chain that puts me off them seems to be very weak but ford use the same in there v6 and that's reportedly near industracable strange that you going to keep the vec 2.2 any mods planned

hi all, another quick update, decided to have a clearout and managed to get myself down to 2 cars, 1 project and a couple of vans :-P. unfortunatly non are vauxhalls but i want to save up for a monaro as a weekend toy.

the current collection is:

bmw 323i, which is currently on ebay to bring me down to 1 everyday car.


honda prelude phase 5: picking up on monday, cost me a grand total of 850 quid.



rover 100 with a t16 turbo conversion. no pics yet as its in lots of pieces getting built.

mercedes sprinter for the business, and also iveco daily for work aswell.

im reckoning it will be a good year of saving aslong as work keeps coming in through summer.
