Default Got your camping gear for PVS yet?

It seems Argos have extended their half price sale on certain camping gear.

They have tents starting from as little as £12.99 for a 2 man.

Personally- I'm going for this 4 man tent:

Was near £50, now only £25!! (Not sure when the offer ends though.. fingers crossed it's still that price come Saturday!

Ps. I would highly advise against buying one of these:

There's some damn good reviews of that tent on the Argos website.

What other stuff do we need to take with us Ben except for the essentials like tent, sleeping bags, air mattresses?

I've got a 10 million candle power torch here but only holds about 20mins charge lol.

Any recommendations for camp lights?

I've never used those throw away BBQ's before. How many you think I'll need roughly?

Im sure their about a fiver each aint they? Not worth just buying a cheap metal one from argos for £10-£15 and bringing a small bag of easy-light charcoal with me?

And what about deckchairs? Everyone bringing those?

I know what you're saying but different people may want to eat at different times.

Especially when they get on the beer lol.

A very big "if" anyway, and I wouldn't bring the big barbie as I'd have to put the stand on the roofbars and by the time the gas bottle goes in, theres ****-all room for a toothbrush m8, plus Im not driving a car stinking of bbq all the way back to Liverpool, it's not happening.

So either way disposable bbq's or and cold food... pies, butties, beer etc would be the order of the day, and it might be advisable to stock up with food before making the trip, that Tesco's may be mullered with thousands of others having the same idea lol.

Hope I can come down, butI'm really not sure if I can get the time, the way things are at the mo.
