yeah mate, its not complusary to have public liability insurance for club stands altho it is advised as we are responsible for our own stand, its manditory for TRADERS to have it.

so in short its not compulsary......

if we dont have it we have to be extra carefull with banners / flags or any other thing that could fall / take off and hit another car or person.

i wouldnt mate its our 1st pvs, its not like we have big banners and flags just yet.

we should have one banner or something for pvs tho...... (off topic)

but as long as were all sensible and all inspect the stand for problems we should be fine.....

keiths car will need a public health notice lol ....

hopefully so will mine if i make some adjustments before pvs ? (keith) ?

OK Good (For me) as it'l keep costs down.

I'm finding it a bit hard trying to pay for banners etc as my car needs over £1500 spent on it in the run up to PVS09

Thanks bud.

I am TRYING to source a BIG ONE and get the VVON logo plastered on it like this:

But not had much joy in the search so far.

With time and funding running low- I think this year we will be without one of these.

We have a BIG marquee for the pub.. I'm sure I could borrow this for the event this year if we wanted it.

It's HUGE, and I don't know an exact size, but it's like this:

(Maybe slightly smaller)

Should I bring this?

Having never attended PVS before, I'm replying on you guys to help me out here

We will have at least 1 banner sorted out for PVS this year... If funding allows- I'll get 2 done.

Keith- I'm guessing your banner will be appearing with us? Or do you have your own stand or what?

NOTE: Changed thread title too.

basically the plot of land we are given is enough for the cars once i have submitted the numbers when we arrive we will have a set amount of space depending on the number of cars.
the only thing we need is a small gazebo incase its silly hot or raining for us to stand under.
keiths banner will be on our stand (stand = very basic plot of land for us to park on) depends on where we are to how the stand is going to be set out but ill decide this when i have exact numbers etc.

the huge thing would be nice if there was lots of room but there wont be unless you want to park vecs in there too lol ...

have a look at the pics on the website
PV 09 - Galleries 2008 - No.1 Performance Vauxhall event of the year
it gives you a little idea what its like.....
