Not here yet, but...

Basically between my Dell Vostro leaving here and the engineers finishing inspecting it, it apparently stopped working, wouldnt power up or anything! They said the motherboard had failed!

Anyway, they suggested a replacement Acer... I refused point blank and the guy went to have a look for another one...

Then rings me back and offers me this

OK its a PC World listing, but the one I can find really. Obviously its brand new, with a new warranty and everything.

To say I'm chuffed is an understatment.. OK it doesnt quite meet my spec (it only has a 6 cell battery - mine was 9) but given the spec of it, I decided not to take the pee too much, as it was an outstanding offer!

Makes up for the fact my other HP laptop's power jack has failed, and also needs collecting on tuesday for warranty repairs... I'm using my daughters laptop at the moment! GRR!!

So come wednesday I can play with this nice, spanking new 1080p HD 16.4" laptop!! hehe.

I've never owned a Sony Vaio, but looking forward to it.. It looks like it even has back lit keys, and check out where the power button is!!

Its a 16.4" full HD screen, with 1920x1050 pixel resolution, complete with a blue-ray drive too! hehe.

6GB DDR3 RAM, a quad core I5 Intel CPU, 1GB Geforce with cuda GFX.... It rocks big time!
