Cool omega 2.5 v6 missfire

Been told to come here and ask this question about my omega its a 98 v6 which has developed a missfire sounds like a scooby at the minute and is drinking fuel like mad I checked the coil pack I'm getting a spark to all six plugs put new ones in it did nothing but I noticed the 3 sensors on the cambelt end of the engine I unpluged the outer 2 the car cut out but when I unplugged the center one nothing happened .

Help does anyone have a idea what to look at ?

take each plug out in turn and see which cylinder is letting it down, could be an injector sticking. If you're handy you could get a pressure gauge on the fuel rails, if the pressure drops rapidly when turning the engine off chances are you've got a sticking injector.

just process of elimination really.
