Hello everyone.

As this is my first message to you all, I would like to take this opporunity to thank Tom, his team and all of our members for the amazing work to get VVON this far. Without all of you we wouldnt have this forum as we know it today.

This is mainly just a quick one to let you know whats happening so far:

1. Gone are the old VVON logo's, and in its place are our new ones, with our new name, Various Vauxhall Owners Network. Thank you to Tom for this, and your time so far with the homepage modifications.
2. I've created a new forum here, for our members to post pictures of there cars - Whether to show off your shiny clean paint, your latest mod or just to show the whole car off generally. Feel free to post as many pictures of your cars as you like - One rule though, it must be a car you own please, no pictures of anything else.
3. Most the forum titles and references to Vectra have been changed to Vauxhall.
4. I have renamed "Support Area" to "Forum Support Area" in the hope it makes it a little bit clearer to new members that this is the forum support section.
5. In the technical section I have added several new forums to cover other Vauxhall models. This is by no means complete just yet, I hope to have this in a seperate forum by the weekend. At which point I will likely be editing the permissions so you need to be a registered member to view the contents - As it stands now you can just browse the forum as a unreigstered member and read the information.
6. The FAO lounge has been moved from the Events section to the Other Chat section of the forum.
7. The page position of the Other chat section has also now been moved to below the Vauxhall Chat section of the forum.
8. Platinum members will now find there own forum below the Other Chat section. Once I have finished with the technical section and moved it to its own forum area this should clear up the full page view slightly.
9. Other chat has also been changed into Vauxhall News, were I hope to keep every member up to date with the latest news regarding Vauxhall.

I still have loads more to do, but had a hour or so free this afternoon to move things around. Hopefully I'll be finished by sunday evening, but as always it depends on the time I have available.

I hope the changes will be positive, but as always if you have any suggestions or comments your most welcome to give them in this thread. I'll consider anything posted.

Thanks, I still have loads to do, the Sales Section needs a revamp as well, but not quite sure what to do with it yet.

Next on the list:

1. Move the technical section out of Vauxhall chat and into its own Forum area.
2. Decide how to re-vamp the sales section, and change some of its permissions to stop unregistered members seeing certain sub forums of the sales area
3. Look at the memberships, and decide how I'm going to go ahead with any changes to it, in respect to the Verified status and its requirements.
4. I'm also going to look at the platinum members forum and see what I can do to add more to it.
5. Then its onto merchandise... I'd like to offer memberships that include some more information and freebies.
