You may well have noticed these icons on the forums homepage in the last couple of days:

The reason I never announced it was that it was not working as I wanted it to.. however now I've finished, and it's working.. so here I am

The main benefit about these icons, is the RSS feed icons in particular:

Here's an example:

You want to keep up to date with what's happening in the Vectra chat forum as it's the only section that interests you.

Sometimes you come onto VVON, and see nothing in that section that you fancy reading... waste of your time- right?

Well- Now you can see what's being posted in that section as & when it's posted, without even coming onto the VVON website!

Simply click the RSS Feed icon (

) next to the forum you want to keep up-to date with, and subscribe to the feed.

Now every time a new thread's posted in that section, you'll be notified in your RSS client (I use Microsoft Outlook, but if you don't have that, you can use this one for free: Download Feed Demon 3.0.0.41 - FileHippo.com ). The notifications are basically emails, with an excerpt of the thread that's been posted... you can read the excerpt, and if the thread sounds interesting- simply click 'read more', and it'll take you directly to the thread- Simple as that!

...And the best thing is- You can subscribe to as many sections as you wish. So if you want to keep up-to date with the news & announcements, AND the Vectra chat sections- subscribe to both of them.
