Some changes include:

• Added a new-style member notifications pane
• Added forums stats to below the new-style member pane & removed from the bottom of the forums to help increase load time
• Added user avatat to the homepage- If you click it, it's a shortcut to 'Edit avatar'.
• Removed the statistics window from the homepage, and moved to it's own seperate page ('Stats' tab added to the navbar). This is helping decrease page-load time.
• Cleaned up some un-needed coding, to help increae page-load times in Internet Explorer 8
• Fixed a few errors in Internet Explorer 8

Nice one Tom, the site is constantly evolving, it's an uphill struggle in balancing what code to put into the site, and what needs to be removed as it hits either the irritation level or is no longer practical.

Thing is- The forum is using a pre-made software (VBulletin), so is full of stuff that is not needed.

It's going to take me forever to strip all the un-needed code out of the script, however- it has MANY MANY uses, and I consider it the best option for the site.

Yes there will be many more changes, some of which may take some getting used to (For members who have used the forums for a while).

However- My aim with the site is to make it more simple to navigate, whilst remaining clean looking, yet stylish.

I'm glad everything is starting to come together in the grand plan m8 I think that speed is a critical factor as well, so for me the main thing is that when I click on the site it loads fast and the pages come up toot-sweet. Not always possible when folk drench them in pics, but hey ho, there you go, etcetera
