Aircon pipe work as leeky said common fault on the 2.2 as vauxhall routed it through the back of the engine so ever time the engine moves it breaks the aluminum canister so no aircon

Its ok to drive the car just make sure the pipe isn't going to fall on to anything it shouldn't the pipe itself not sure on welding maybe trying ebay or a scrap yard for one from the same car should be a few about due to the cam chain going or just remove the pipe completly re-charge kwik-fit were doing it for £50 but a search on the web should find someone local too you to do it

Possible that the spring may have snapped common on the vecs to do coil overs you need spring compressors. And a lot of wd40 I've fitted a few sets now there easy to do just take ure time and remeber to tighten the front strut nut when its off the jack or stands also you may have to alter the rear brake pipes becaus e the adjuster ring fowls the pipe also don't think ill just whack them to the bottom of the thread leave about 7 threads visable on each best comprmise of height and comfort imo
