It was suggested over dinner last night that this forum might be a fun place to hang out in.
I try not to hang out too often, it offends people and causes frost bite on the bell end.
OK, I don't own a Vectra, shoot me down.
I have spent many a (un)happy hour working under the bonnet of the things as I used to work at a Vauxhall dealership.
I do, however, own an Opel Manta Centaur, so its kinda related, if you will allow that.
Cheers
Hi and Welcome to the site.
The fact that you own a Manta does you no harm here , lovely cars, I used to have a Cavalier Mk1 which was a Opel Ascona with a new nose, lovely car.
If memory serves correctly wasn't the Centaur the opentop convertible?
Back in the late 70's I lived in Germany, a friend used to have a Manta Berlinetta which was smart. and another friend had a weird Manta, it had the 1196cc Kadette engine in it, not many were sold by Opel as it was underpowered and a gutless wonder but a Manta no less, never saw the light of day in the UK.
Spent many a happy day in the Manta.
Would love to see some pics on here of the Centaur.
