Due to recently moving into the admin role, and now running the day-to-day aspects of VVON, as well as the re-structure of the forum I feel its time to let someone else do this, so I can concentrate on the forum 100%.

The role:

1. To post details for the summer shows on the forum in a organised, and tidy manner.
2. To act as a point of contact with members, dealing with questions regarding shows/tickets etc
3. Dealing directly in all respects with the show organisers, and relaying information given or asked of.
4. Taking payments for tickets, and arranging for them to be sent out to members in a timely fashion - This can be done by admin if required.
5. The organisation of show stands, liasing with VVON staff and show staff as required.
6. In the role of Events Manager you also oversee the regional reps as well, helping out and offering advise where possible as required.

This role will suit:

1. Someone prepared to put hard work in. Winter time is quiet, but during the show season you will be busy - That said, you get to put your mark onto things, and you decide how you want our stands to look at shows
2. You need to be methodical, calm mannered and able to handle pressure.
3. You must be a peoples person, and easy approachable. In this role you will be speaking to a variety of people and its essential you can communicate efficively with all manner of people.

In this role, you have the opportunity to really make this your own. It would therefore suit someone able to commit time, and really inject enthusiasm into the role. In return you'll have almost free range to do as you feel is right, and you will make the decisions.
