Going to brim the v6 vec tomorrow morning about 4am (get more petrol if its cold so they say) taping up the bonnet lines and any lines gaps I can cover with duct tape (ala top gear) going to do 56mph all way down (traffic permiting) on cruise control be trying not to brake hard or accelrate hard no stops till I get to the euro star then the same through france don't want to fuel up till I come back sunday. Oh joy going to use shell optimax as well anyone got any tips or ideas what I can use
Was a laugh I was having with her didn't bother in the end was too cold at 4am this morning did 70mph on cruise and was recording 49.8mpg did 60mph in france got 46.4mpg got just over 1/4 a tank. And really need to improve my french lol know one or two rude words - my name is - hello - goodbye lol nice drive bit warmer too lol
Lol its a v6 only going off the computer going to work it out miles to cost when I get back went too newcastle beginning of the month it worked out 31mpg average. Want to see what this run amounts to as its a good 900 - 1000 mile journey . Hopefully give me a better reading ragging a twingo around at the min
are you sure yours is a v6? I couldn't even get 46.4 mg from my 1.8 vectra. 30 is the limit in the cdx.
Did 70mph from the satnav reading not speedo it was showing 74mph done 990 miles my mate reckons that's about 34mpg he will double check tomoz
As the cost of fuel was cheaper in france too french people anyway lol
