been looking at a new car today its the astra coupe
and just wanred to know if anyone had one or new
is there i need to look out for

There a good car just check what you would check on a vectra also some coupes had horrid interiors suede an half leather is the best engine wise the x18xe1 is a good engine better than the x22se one the z20let is the dogs bEEp lol but one thing I'd do is check ure insurance first as the coupe are similar group to the vec v6 sri and then some the 1.4 tigra I had was 50 quid less than the v6 sri ? Strange but true lol..

Astra uses a Z22SE Matt, the X22XE is from the Omega. Though I think you meant the right engine, but used an X by accident?

But pretty much as Matt said Ste, though I would check the Astra Owners club or whatever it is just to make sure there is nothing specific they recommend you check as well.

thanks lads looked on the insurance and the 2.2 is less than my 2.0 vec work that out coz i cant lol

Ure car has been a loss that you bought back so its going to cost more too insure just remember a 2.2 needs the cam chain don't belive the its been done recently
