Default Speedbumps, traffic calmers...

Why is it I and many others have to slow down to snail speed....yet police cars - talking about an Astra....can effortlessly go over them at break-neck speeds are they made of a metal or are designed using technology not of this earth???

Simple tbh you care about ure car the police don't I found in my vecs if you hit the speed bump just right you could go over it with out slowing in the coupe I have to take a diffrent route home the speed bumps are 3 foot high well probably not that high but high enough to scrape my bumpers yup front and rear even on 18" alloys lol

Front and rear bumper noises for me on 16's
We have a mix, there's one seems to be common on crossings, that is full road width ...doesn't seem to bother them, as you say not their car and I've heard many a sump scuff, those daft ones 3 across always seemed to be angled, so else you slow down to tickover speed you catch the inner rim.
Oh now in their wisdom they do have high ones concrete/tarmac with rubberlike angled ramp slats that come loose a few weeks after they are laid.

Of course any damage to claim involves a jungle of red-tape
