well vickie has had me redecorating the front room joy but on a plus point she says i can get a new tv whoooaaaaaaa

40" samsung on a stand to a 50" lg on the wall get in lol.......

I'd wait as HD are old tech and the prices will be dropping shortly as 3D screens hit the market.

3d is pants at the min dont think 500 is bad for a 50" though need a tv as ive sent the samsung back 11 times now been repaired more times than i have used it lol currys said they would pay me the cost of the tv so 500 will leave me some cash over for a bracket and hdmi's

I think the point Nick is also making is the onslaught of 3D TV's will drive down HD TV prices Matt.

I'd love a HD TV, but for now our Toshiba 32" refuses to die so I've no excuse! lol.

thats different, you didnt mention that before.
Sky just launched their 3D channel ready for christmas £££££ and loads of films are now being made or many are being re-released in 3D. I have HD tv's and Sky+ HD box but I was given that for free as I threatened to leave, buggar paying £30 a month (first 4 months free hahahaha just to watch 50+ HD channels of repeats)
Now I'm waiting for the IMAX 3D sets which should be here to coincide with the launch of the IMAX 3D channel this time next year.

i carnt get virgin or sky where i live they wont fit virgin as we werent wired when the first fit was done and sky we have to get permison and they wont give it if you have it put up they cut the wire and charge for it being there cutting the wire fixing the holes were it was takes the mickey

Since they switched over that is a pain

We're lucky as they just fitted a whopper of a communal dish and aerial - left my dish there though

did have moans at start (god 7 yrs ago) but that was done to their left hand not knowing what their right hand was doing.

When the kids come over and my g/f with x-factor and soaps, me hardly watch it.

That what I waited for, and just after I had the screen it started to work again but I'm single so no one to nag me lol

God knows when I'm getting another car right now to be honest. As much as it pains me I'm saving so much money not having one right now.

I'll have to think about one when I start working again, but until then I might as well not bother being the full time student that I now am. lol.
