found out what my water leak was yesterday when the vec just stopped and a load off white smoke to the point you could not see the road
so took the head off today and found the head gasket had blown
so need a bit off help if anyone has got a torque wrench and is free next
friday and can help me i would be grateful

Cheers Matt I just found and nabbed the last one, at my local Aldi's..... thinking now WTF am going to use that for as anything engine...major will involve a garage anyway

Have to agree with Matt there, every bolt or nut on a car has a specific torque rating. Obviously some are more serious than others, but there'll be plenty to break it in with.

Much prefer the pre-cam belt cars, single belt or ford's yet another tool i've had to buy again...divorce cost me all my snap-on's. Yes you're both right, I thought of the wheel-nuts etc plus sons rear axle still havent done that. Me thinks I'll windup my son and bring the wrench out with a screwdriver bit for his hoses hahaha when I sort out his water leak.
