Default Chris Not(t) - by name and nature

Called today for a quote on the vec, they won't touch it if its parked on the road.

'don't you do tpo?' I ask

'yes but we still wont cover it'

WHAAAA, if its tpo whats it matter, i didn't bother to ask that, but it begs the question.

Try Sky Insurance, our other forum sponsor, I've found they smash every other quote I get.

Mines fully comp as I want what I paid for it back if its written off.

I know my sons (he's 19 now) was £2700 tpft 1.9 diesel Peugeot 306 but he had a tracker fitted so it was curfewed 11-5 and it went down to £1700, now its £800 tpft for a 1.1 205 Peugeot but hes on his mums policy as a named driver.

Rip-off all round.

blimey I paid £2400 at 19 on an MGF and felt hard done by, to even contemplate paying more than that on a diesel 306 is crazy.

Tracker fitted? Does that mean he can't use his car at night and be insured? Kind of defeats the object.
