 What a start lol
Really keen to start new mod on the car today , opened the garage...pressed the key to unlock, nothing! Mistake No 1 Tried a few times, thought great battery has gone in the key... locked the garage searched high and low for a spare - nothing. Thought try again. nothing, locked the garage, ordered a replacement batt (2 for 1) off ebay. Then thought use the breakdown cover so went down again, dontknow why I looked inside and thought strange alarm light isnt flashing - I had left the side lights on all night lol Mistake No 2 called my son, to jump start car using his Pug, connected leads to batteries, smoke started coming from the negative jumperlead on my car WTF. Ok I said, I'll jump in my car and turn the key you clip the lead on....same again???? Dad the wires melted WTF???? Turns out I had mixed the positive with negative on my sons car, when I realised all was fine.       |

Yeah everything is fine as my car was dead and no current was going through - jumperlead took the load lol but that was ok. cars been running off and on all day. Whats that Pink Floyd Song...A Momentary Lapse of Reason (Madness) |

Discovered the fuse had gone in me poweramp, not sure if its related as I do crank it up lol the rest of the ICE works fine hard to tell as I also have 2x400W Mutant 3 way 6.5" coaxial shelf speakers for the shelves in the hatch - cant see why peeps cutup their parcel shelves on the veccy's

lazyness bud tbh and the amp fuse would have popped at the time when you crossed the leads best the fuse than ure amp

yeah as it is directly connect to batt though the in-line fuse didnt blow, it was the one in the amp - usual setup, remote cable to head unit..it switches on when ignition key is present and head unit is turned on
