check the inline as that should blow first if its the amp one check ure earth connection is suitable a multimeter is good for that as a bad earth from the amp can cause it to blow espically with the wrong current going through it

It been in there since 2004 and earthed in the rear, as I said I replaced the fuse and its fine

I checked the in-line fuse thats fine, when I switched on, the power protect came on on the amp, so I checked the fuse (25a) and discovered it had blown. So I knew the current was getting through - my guess is the reverse polarity blew the fuse.


I know when I bought the car the cigar lighter fuse kept blowing, went back and fourth under warranty, in the end just I changed to a higher fuse..been alright since.
