Default Grr!!

Some of you will remember the new desk I ordered before I wall mounted my twin LCDs, well after only a month or so of use the worktop is blistering and rubbing through...

So I call them, and first they say they'll send me a new replacement top out, then they realise its no longer manufactured anymore, so now I have to strip my bloody desk down, and find some sodding way of packaging it all so they can collect it in a couple of days...

What a nightmare, as i now need to find, order and build a new desk!!! So it looks like I'll be using the laptop from now on, sod doing all that before we move, I'll just wait me thinks!

I'm gutted, I'm so gonna miss my twin LCDs, gonna have to use my 15.4" widescreen from now on...

I'm not enjoying packing my pc and all its gear back up either..... Fook me there's zillions of cables, power leads, and associated crap connected to this sodding thing!!!!!!!!

I wanna cry, and I'm sodding peeved off now!! Grr!!!

P.S. I feel better for whinning now!

LOL @ you! lol.

No more matrix stylee until I move now. Im getting a refund, as the next one will be just as crap as this one... the laminate is only like 0.1mm thick or something stupid, so doesnt taking to use very well!

I'll wait til we move and then set my corner desk out in my new office.

Stuff like that is so shoddy these days go get yourself a sheet of thin ply m8, you can cut to size, pait / stain / seal then place that on top and the desk surface will last for ages! That's what I did before we got the current desk and stuff, it's solid timer and I've gone through the finish but it's only painted so a quick sand down and repaint will sort that lol!

i was thinking about getting another top for it made from solid wood so it didn't happen again but i didn't see the point in spending more money so i demanded they collected it and gave me a refund. My corner desk is a proper desk designed for heavy duty office use so is perfect. It seemed pointless keeping it really. Your idea sounds ace though! Thanks phil.
