haha nah not yet mate.. he's on his way & should be here in the next hour or so. Got my 1st mod sitting here ready to fit to the Golf.

Providing he still wants to do the deal (But im 99% sure he will).

Shame really as I've got to go meet him at the service station so was no point me giving it a right good clean. Instead I parted with a tenner and got the Polish to clean inside & out.. but by the time I got back home (half a mile up the road!) it were dirty again lol.

He said dont worry as gotta drive back up the motorway anyway- however I wanted him to see it in it's glory

Oh well.. time will tell I guess. Will update you guys soon as Im done with the deal as will need to pop back inside to phone up & change insurance over before I can take it for a blast anyway lol

********! forgot the insurance company is closed today as it's a bank holiday so that means I gotta wait until tomorrow before I can drive it on the road .. gutted!

Got it! But cant get pics as its too dark now

So far im impressed, and cannot wait til tomorrow morning so I can get it all cleaned up and swap insurance over so I can take it out properly.

Took it for a blast up the road out the back to try it out and seems a nice comfy ride.

18's slammed on coilovers and just drives so nice (so far!).

Will get a thread up tomorrow with many pics, as per usual lol

Just grabbed some better pics (It's damn filthy though!).. and it was getting dark too.

However they're better than the last couple I managed to get!























One of the alloys is a bit scuffed on the rim so needs refurbed. Got new tyres in the boot to get fitted.. also going to raise the coilovers 5mm or so as it's catching the arches ever so slightly when going over pot holes. Also got to tighten up the center section exhaust bracket as where it's so low it was hitting the previous owners driveway so he was having to tighten it up once a week. I think I'll tighten it then whack some of that blue lock nut stuff on it for good measure.

There's also the odd little scratch/ chip here & there but nothing major, and to be expected for a car of this age. I am fussy though- sure you all know that by now haha!

Give me a few months and I'll see about getting it all sorted. 1ST things 1st though- need some power so remap comes before anything else.

THEN- Those gay-looking angel-eye headlights need to go! Chav style lol!
