look just below the roof line, there are some large vents.

I heard about the sandwich depot bunker. You into this type of thing as well ?

I dont think anyone knows for certain any of the bunkers are safe. In fact im sure i have read that none of them will stand a direct strike so they protect of the blast and fall out.

Yeah, urban exploration actually interests me, and I remember reading up on oxygen thiefs lovely report on longbridge long before the media got their teeth into it! I've not actually done any myself, would be freaky going to some places alone, but I'd certainly love to if I got the chance too.

Whats the point in a nuclear graded bunker if it wont withstand the one thing its built to protect itself from!!!

I with you there lee. Would love some UE but a bit spooky alone.

The bunker was there provide comms for the RAF and was one of many around the country.

It was not designed to live in for any period of time.

Unlike the RSG like this which is a fab visit. Also been the one at Chester and seen some bits above ground at the holy grail of turnstile, burlington etc. The air vents alone are the size of a pair of semi houses.

so what we all been up to day.

I have done a bit in the garden and cut up some old furntire with the chain saw

Watched Harry Potter 5 so we can go see 6 next week.

Just Q'd up some to rent TV for the good lady, 7 gig of true blood.

Erm, i spent most the day project researching while Donna went with the girls to her uncles and aunts in Basildon.

So have sore eyes from 10+ hours in front of a computer on epc among other things.

Hacking furniture up with a chainsaw sounds fun!!
