Don't think its the pressure that opens it, similar mech to the number plate on my bike, small servo that is switched inside the car so you have the choice of noise or quiet(ish)... very cool idea though

Ah ok, just assumed it was like a ten cents hooker, opened up when enough pressure applied lol. A mechanism on the plate... Nice to see bike tech has come on since the days of a top hinge and velcro lol!
