i dont have a problem with the site or anyone on it as said ive met some good people off there its just my opinion after being on there for 12 months that it had gone downhill and wasnt buzzing like it used to be

its just the way certain admin run the site and treated some of its long standing and hard working members that at the end of the day make the site what it is

sadly it is the admins on most sites that cause the problems and being stuck up there own truffle suirters dont help, fortunately here we have tom, a top bloke who is one of us and listens to the forums members, someone that admins of other forums should learn from.

... But in case any of you are let down by me in the future; I would just like to point out that all site admin are only human, including me.

I will make mistakes while being Admin here and I don't deny that.

Yes, I do have the final say in what happens on VVON as it is my site; However- I'm always open to suggestions, and here to listen to member opinions. It would be common sense, as well as curtious, if you could PM me first with any problems. That way I can try to address them. If you feel I've not dealt with it properly, by all means; have a rant about it in the VVON Rant room. NOTE: This is a Platinum members only section, as in the past we had someone here just to stir up trouble, so basically- If you don't support the site (Which only costs £1.20 per year!), I don't have to deal with the problem raised.

Personally; I've never had any problems with V-S, but do however see 2 sides to what has happened over there and if I were one of those who had been treated 'unfairly', I would probably be as ****ed as some of you are...

.... I was when a similar thing happened to me on VVOC. And I stuck to what I believed in, got a lifetime ban with no explanation/ refund etc. I then voiced what happened over at VVOC, on here. However; I've now moved on, and I'm back enjoying what I joined a Vectra forum for- To mingle with like-minded people, gain knowledge about the thing I love, and have a laugh at the same time.

Anoher important thing for me now (Which I'm finding quite hard), is having to remain professional- For VVON's sake. Which means my personal feelings to wards what's gone on recently cannot play any part in this.

So... whilst I understand that you want to have your say about what's happened recently, I also have to make sure VVON is not used as a 'weapon of war' against other forums, and this thread is becoming just that.

I'm not saying you are not allowed to post this kind of thing- I am just asking you to think before you post about these matters. After all- VVON is what YOU make of it, and constant slaggings of other sites will not do VVON any good in the long run and it would be a shame to see it go downhill, especially in it's early days.

Therefore; I am going to close this thread, and to save myself from possible member hatred for doing so- I'm going to tell you why I have decided this-

I have a few PM's from valuable members, outlining some of what I've mentioned above.
The thread originally started, not aimed at any sites in particular, but as a whole. Since then it's turned into a personal war against certain other sites.
I know you are all here because we're more relaxed, and have a nice friendly atmosphere, and if threads like this kept poppin up- That would soon change. It's like politics- They always end in an argument.
There are appropriate sections provided for this kind of talk.

So- I'm closing the thread, and it will remain here until tomorrow, giving you ALL chance to read this post. I'm then going to move it to the rant room.

That is a 'Private members' section, and it will not be publicly viewable.

Any Platinum members who don't want to hear anymore about this topic should read carefully the thread titles before entering them.

Or if you don't want to hear moaning/ ranting about things in general; Stay clear of that section all together.

Lastly- I just want to ask you, just to think- before you post anything like this again.
