Well it kind of ****ed down this morning, so when I went outside to give it another layer of wax, I was blessed with some sexy beading:
...Although that's not as good as it should be, so clearly- I need a few more layers of wax on there
So, I set about the car with the Meg's drying towel getting rid of all the water:
...I could apply the next coat of wax. This time, I managed to find my Meg's wax applicator pads, which made it easier to apply. I only done the passenger side, as it started to rain yet again, and I could only fit one side of the car under the porch bit to keep it dry!!
Left it on for about 15 minutes, then buffed off with some microfiber towels, and wow what a shine (Sorry camera's a bit poo!):
..Anyway, the rain stopped & started a few times so I never started waxing the rest of the car. Fingers crossed I'll get to do it tomorrow.
I did however give the windows a good clean inside & out using Auto Glym window cleaner (Fantastic stuff!)
I also gave the dash/ trim a quick going over with some Turtle wax dash shining stuff, and washed the carpets with Auto Glym carpet shampoo, but never got any pics due to the camera playing up yet again!!
All that's left to do
inside now is give it a good hoover and stick my groovy, durable rubber mats in.
More tomorrow. Although since I had to go out in the car this evening, and thanks to it absolutely HAMMERING down on the way home, I'll need to give it a quick shampoo & rinse before applying the next coat of wax, but that should be a 15 minute job now that the first layer of wax has been applied.
